Instant Message Lover - Spellbound by the Computer
by CorwinCoreyAmber
My friend's on standby, fulfilling my needs,
with bits and bytes and electronic beats
connects me through, I don't know how,
avoiding bottlenecks on highways, slow
he watches, eagerly, a distant line
a love, I came to call all mine.

With dim-lit light, my hands, he ties,
to the pattern of his keys,
my fingers, locked, he binds my eyes,
and brings me to my knees.

Then, suddenly awake to her sweet warning
he tells me that, no longer am I alone
conveys my passion and my longing
to this distant land... where lovers roam.
