i am wise because i have been foolish.

i am honest but hurtful at the same time.
i am sober because being drugged up killed my soul.

and i am all these things because you tore me down 
so many times over and over again and again
but this is the end of our road and all i want
or have left to say is: 'thank you' 

because everything you've done to me 
has done nothing but make me stronger
and wiser.
