to whom it may concern
by   sweets

i thought to write a letter about the feelings hiding inside me,
to you, the one I love, but you must remember that I couldn't bear
the thought of having you tear these pages in rage,
so i'll hold my heart here safely like wildness in a cage.
and then from afar i shall sneak to you the love i have within,
in the palm of my hand, in the form of a friend.

please take it gracefully and be sure to handle with care,
for the feeling of me without you... is one i cannot bear.
upon a pillow of delightfulness i put you there to stand.
look down below to see me there... offering you my hand.
"here it is", i say to you, my friend, whom i do love dear,
take it and think of me often... down my cheek a single tear.

in my heart i realize for love we cannot fall...
but to me happiness will always be... i'll take the friend,
you are the very best of them all.

i will always love you, good buddy, to the ends of the earth with
the moon high in the sky...
forever you will be the sunshine in my eyes.
