Fading Away
by Rhea Liezl  Florendo

I would say these words to you
If only, if only you knew
How much my heart hurts
How much tears I try to hide
Baby, I need you day by day
But I feel you slipping away
Which way is the way to your heart?
Tell me so I could start
To try my best to get there
I miss the way you touch my hair
How you used to look into my eyes
The smile inside with no disguise
I miss your sweet, tender love letters
You used to slip them in my purse
I wish I only took the chance
To memorize those sweet moments before it slipped my hands
Something tells me I don't have much time
To hold you tight while you're still mine
As I hold you now, my baby
I'll miss your arms around me
I'll miss your warm kisses
Your gentle caresses...

Just one last kiss, one last caress,
One last hope it will hurt less
One last touch of your sweet face
One last taste of your warm embrace
One last look from your hazel eyes
One final breath as my heart slowly dies,
Baby, you promised there'll be no goodbyes...
