the friend i never thought i would lose
by jessica  lynn  gilliland

As the phone rings,
i answer it.
i find a voice
so weak on the other end.
they called to tell me,
my friend is dead.
all the tears run down my cheeks,
as the memories rush through my head.
i want to say goodbye,
but do not know how,
wanna see your face one more time,
but i'm afraid i'll break down.
i don't wanna say goodbye,
because i know i'll cry.
i don't want you to be gone,
but u ended your life.
now all your friends,
grieve the loss of you
now all we have are memories of you.
we all miss you being here,
for to all of us your friendship was dear.
