The Pain You Caused
by Roxana Maria Andrade

Please, Baby, come back to me,
can't you see we were meant to be
one true love for all eternity?
Can't you see you're breaking my heart?
The love we had tore it apart.
The words, "I love you," were never true.
Baby, can't you see what you are doing to me?
We were once whole, but now we are two,
being together again is something we can't do.
You gave me your fake love
and I gave you my true love,
for I was dumb to fall in love mith you.
You said you would never leave me,
but I knew eventually we would end,
but I thought that when we did,
we would still be friends.
When I was in your arms I felt so warm,
but now all I feel is my heart torn.
You said that you would always be there
for my troubled times,
but you weren't, so I lost my mind.
When I went through this strife,
I took my pain away with a knife.
My friends told me not to,
they told me there were better things to do.
So as I sit here with blood on my clothes,
you obviously know what I chose,
for this is the end, good-bye to all of my friends.
For I knew I should have listened to you,
when you guys knew the right thing to do.
So here I am sitting in hell,
thinking nothing but, "Oh-well."
So thank the guy I thought was the one,
for now look what he has done.
He made me go insane,
that's what caused me all this pain.
I guess our love just couldn't be tamed.
