Finally Telling You
by Andraelle  Davis

I sit here in class staring at you,
Wish you knew what I am going through.
I don?t know exactly what I should say,
To explain to you why I feel this way.

Every time I see you, my body goes numb,
And I just wait for that special day to come.
When I finally tell you how I feel,
So my wounded heart can begin to heal.

I?m just going to say what I need to say,
Right here, right now, on this very day.
I love you, in more ways than just one,
There I said it, what?s done is done.

I?m sorry if this bothers you,
But this I know I had to do.
I just had to tell you so you could see,
If maybe you feel the same for me.

If you do, maybe something great will occur,
But your feelings for me, I am not sure.
So please respond to this A.S.A.P.
So I know exactly how you feel for me.
