A Day Together
by Justin The Pepperking  Viel

I awake on a wonderfully brisk spring morning,
As I start yawning I am suddenly blessed with your kiss.
I now gaze out the window to the sun's beams streaming on through,
And the sounds of the birds chirping and the chiming of the chime.

The temperature outside rising as too is my love for you,
The sky so blue a symbol that is true as too is your heart.
Each cloud seen holds a new pleasant vision of you,
This vision dances with me as the wind blows and my desire for you grows.

I now come to give you my sweet embrace,
I know our life together will hold such a grace.
The teapot wildly whistling while we're holding each other kissing,
I look into your eyes and the sparkle of them just starts to glisten.

Later we take our youngest son fishing,
Those days with my father I am missing.
Together with the peaceful sounds we have a picnic,
It's these times together so joyful - I could never be a critic.

Slowly we begin to travel our way home,
I promise never to leave you there lone.
Always I'll be sure to have everything just right,
And here we are holding; treasuring each other in the moonlight.
