Come Back To Me
by Aashiq  Hussain Kachroo

How lonely it feels without her presence!
How calm and quiet is her remembrance!
Oh, how I always wished her with me!
Oh, how I always cherished her being mine!
But like this lonely night, I too am alone.
She left, leaving a space unfilled.
Never did I call her back again.
My voice tried to find her everywhere.
My eyes called her to come back to me.
She went away, ignoring my plea.
My voice saw her run away,
"Come back to me," I couldn?t say.
"Blunt I am," they do feel,
Simple emotions I couldn?t reveal.
It has been years now that I haven?t cried.
Like water in a desert, these tears have dried.
No emotions, no feelings, no rhythm, no rhyme.
And I am still alive, my heart I can hear.
But tonight her absence I couldn?t bear.
And tonight, so vast, I felt shattered.
My eyes were moist, I broke into tears.
My heart stopped a while, my emotion sang.
My voice choked, my feelings rang.
I was weeping, crying aloud.
?Come back, MY LOVE, to me again.
I cannot bear your remembrance now,
And I cannot stand your absence now.
Come back and make my heart beat again.
Come back to me, let my eyes speak again.?
