today was a day i will remember for the rest of my life
you showed me the right way and it wasn't with a knife
i gave you all of me you said, and you laid me on a nice cozy bed
you kissed me once--kissed me twice... gosh wasn't that nice
you pulled out a ring and said those special words,
they sounded as prettey as singing birds
i said yes, you hugged me tight, oh what a wonderful night
we talked til 3 about my problems,
and said you'd help me if it took the world
i told you what you were to me and what today had meant...
i told you my life wasn't closed like a vent!
you are my life...my picker upper...you help me with everthing
i don't even see how i got along with out you, 
i am just glad you are here with me now
today meant the world, meant everything to me, 
i try to say it in words but can you just see?
