pain
by tracy a gilbert

How could you lie to me?
You said you love me
That you would never hurt me
But, yet, I sit here lonely and without you...

You told me you would never leave me
Yet, you walked out of my life
Now all I can do is cry, so much pain
Don?t know how to make the pain go away

I have swallowed so many pills
Trying to stop the pain
But all it did was make me sick....

I gave you my heart, my soul
For the first time I thought I found Mr. Right
Boy was I wrong...

Pain, how do I stop the pain?
Without stopping my life
Pain, pain please goes away
So many tears, so many lies, so much pain....
