Love/Hate
by john peter bahlaj

When all is said and done, why do you come back to taunt me.
Do you take pleasure of my pain.
Your words are bitter to my ears.
I tremble at your sight.
You taught me the meaning of love and i thank you;
alas, you taught me the pains that comes with love.
My defenses are down, don't know what to do.
Confusion, memories pour all over me when i see you.
I curse you, and i love you.
I pray for solitude for i can't utter the words to separate the ties.
