1 last Chance
by Michael T. Alexander

I don?t deserve it, I shouldn?t even ask,
but my wondering couldn?t last.
I made so many mistakes I wonder if you can forgive,
cause without you why should I live.
You've been my heart and soul,
that?s going to last till I am gray and old.
So confused I didn?t know where to go, so I met this other girl
and I kept it on the down low.
I am sorry for all wounds I left on your heart,
but I hope our love is strong enough for us not to fall apart.
I know to you I am a dog and my middle name is lie,
but if it helps, you?re the only girl that ever made me cry.
Remember all the times we had, the way I made you glad,
when you were down and sad.
Now I know you can?t forget our first date,
how I impressed your parents even though you came home late.
Many people dream to go to different countries
like Spain, Jamaica, and France,
funny all I dream is 1 last chance
