I found my love
by David  Fronius

I found my love unexpectedly,
flying into each other mid-flight
and tumbling to the ground together.
First seeing her, a beautiful sight.

Her eyes penetrated me deeply.
Her gaze was not that of glee
and I looked o'er the surroundings
to find a safe place to flee.

She grinned then, a knowing smile,
and placed my hand into hers.
I then fell in love, oh, completely.
I knew this could not be a curse.

We conversed in a flowered field.
Her red hair flowing in the wind.
I glanced with delight o'er her beauty,
thinking such thoughts, surely sin.

At the top of a hill we did gather
and laid amongst flowers in bloom.
Looking out as far as we could see
believing this was 'our' room.

The night skies then did beckon
calling moon and stars to bear.
I lost my love to her then
in the midst of flowers and red hair.
