From Friends To Lovers
by Sunday B. Fakus

Friends forever I thought we would remain
Until love struck through our hearts
Without a doubt we couldn't resist
The urge to roll in one another's arms

And in unison we resolved to proceed
Sharing feelings that boil within
Our eyes are filled with rosy dreams
Sailing on the sea of life and love

We swiftly removed the wall of partition
And our love became talk of the town
Hand in hand we walk down the streets
With wet kisses and joyful pleas

From friends to lovers we've sailed
The transition was so fast and smooth
To wedlock our destination remains
Together in love till the end of time
