Together At Last
by Megan Anne Gilligan

I'm sitting here confused as to why I'm alone.
It's clear you like me; It's clear I've known.

So, why aren't you here with your arms around me?
Don't you understand how happy we'd be?

But, what about her? The one you're with now,
She won't understand 'why'. She won't understand 'how'.

We both know these feelings can't be put off much longer.
We've tried that before, and our feelings grew stronger.

Finally we kissed and that's when we knew,
No one can stop us; No matter who.

It's about time for us to unite.
Deep in our hearts we know this is right.
