Sitting around with nothing to do,
       I think about how much I want to be with you.
         These feelings I have don't always show.
       But I'm telling you now; I want you to know.
      We've been through a lot, good times and bad.
        I'm not always happy; you do make me sad.
       You sometimes act like you don't even care.
     Love like this hardly happens; it's almost rare.
   Although we're not together, I wish so much we were.
      But now we're apart because you've chosen her.
      She seems to be better in everything and more.
      I don't even know what I'm hanging around for.
         You've hurt my feelings and made me cry.
      Still, after all this time, I continue to try.
       I guess I just love you and get carried away,
        and I wish you were mine to have everyday.
