The Perfect Impurity
by Sheena A. McCandless
You're the perfect guy,
You're always there,
Around you, my heart wants to fly,
Without you, my mind is bare.
You say all the right things,
At all the right times,
Endless love, to me you bring,
A perfect match, you'd think I'd find.
But my heart doesn't seem to think so,
I've fallen so hard for you,
My heart's afraid to let me go,
For someone who's love is purely true.
I want to love you so much more,
I would give anything for your touch,
I've never loved someone this much before,
So that's why I'm afraid-although not sure of what.
Afraid of sins,
Afraid of betrayal,
Afraid of never-ending happiness,
Or afraid of true love.
