If I Gave You My Heart
by   MiSs PoLyNiSiaN

If I gave you my heart,
would you protect it?
Would you keep it safe inside
and never let go?
Would you break my heart
and leave me feeling hurt?
Or make me happy,
and love me forever?
I'm risking something
that I might regret later.
I'm going to give you my heart,
and let you take it from there.
Dearest, don't break my heart,
that's all I'm asking for.
If you do that to me,
I will never trust you again...
