It was a dream come true
but then...I found out it was just a dream
nothing more
It lasted a short period of time
Too short to say it was real
But it seemed so real through that short period of time
My dream started quickly
Yet ended so quickly
you said you loved me
Then you left me
Why must you break my heart
Why did i say 'I love you'
and later say goodbye
If you really loved me like you said
You would have stayed
Maybe one day I will figure it out
