Cute As A Buttercup
by Robert Louis Arehart

Elegance supreme,
a wonderous dream.
A face that is lovingly fair.

Soft southern talk,
an Aristocrat's walk.
A girl with sunlight for hair.

Cute as a buttercup,
tender as mist.
Sweet as a rose by a raindrop kissed.

Kind as a warm breeze,
softer than down.
A beautiful creature, loved by a clown.
