Laugh Again
by Stacey M. Campen

Laugh again, you love to laugh,
and I to watch your smiling eyes.
I could laugh the night away
beneath these brooding skies.

I can see the sun in you
and reach to feel the tempered bliss
of every touch and taste and thrill
of every day within your kiss.

Have there been, yet, bluer days,
Or softer winds around your hair?
A truer place of life's true grace
would undoubtedly find us there.

Oh, laugh until you laugh away
the cares of this most ardent day,
and laugh until the tears do flow,
until this pain... we'll never know.
