untitled
by Micah T. Steele

Her beauty surpasses that of the first rays of sunshine
at the dawn of a new morning.
Touching her skin is like laying your hand
    upon the softest silks.
When she speaks, the musical quality of her voice
    fills the room.
Her laughter sets my soul ablaze
    with the purest of joys.
Her smile entraps my body
    with a lover?s desire.
Her touch is loving and warm,
as if she holds the very sun in her hands.
Her eyes sparkle like the rarest
    and most precious jewels.
Kissing her soft, supple lips is like drinking of the sweetest
    and most intoxicating white wine.
Her spirit is wild and free,
like a jungle cat stalking in the forest.
She is the most dangerous, yet,
the safest person I have ever known.
Her passions and desires are like a fiery blaze,
    they can not be denied.
She sees beyond my faults and imperfections,
seeing the person I truly am.
She is the embodiment of all my
    needs, wants, and dreams.
She is my heart, my soul, my all,
and I thank the gods every second of every day
that she is my one, my only, "sweets".
