Oblivion
by   kristiana

A deep, lamenting purple
Sprawls out across the skies.
Filling the heart, the mind, the soul
With melancholy sighs.
Cherubs soar like little dreams
Through everlasting love.
Their wings flutter like whispers, soft,
To carry them above.
The stars appear as holes on the darkened curtain of night.
Through the holes of the curtain,
Glimmer bits of heaven's divine white light.
Pinkish hues define eternity,
Dizzying brightness tickles the land.
My dreams are made of angelic love,
Come along... I offer you my hand.
