Journey's End
by   HSC

She cannot take this jouney more
She cannot walk this trail
She's given up- she can't go on
She did her best, but failed

Her feet are swollen, scratched and bruised
Her arms are limp and weary,
Her body's given up on her,
Her eyes are wet and teary.

Why does she lack the strength she needs
To make it to the end?
The pain's too much for her to bear,
She wishes to ascend.

So easy just to end it now,
To rise above it all,
The memories of his actions crushed,
Her body left to fall.
