In all Things
by Dan J. Mishko
When raindrops fall and wet your pretty face,
and sadness covers all your thoughts and cares.
I'll chase the sorrow back and take its place,
and hold you till the darkness disappears.
In time you'll look around and see the sun,
the clouds will drift away and sweep the air.
But if you fall, don't worry, my dear one.
Just look around and I'll be standing there.
I'll pick you up and place you on your feet,
and wipe the dust off from your pretty dress.
You'll know you're not alone, when our eyes meet,
I'll bring you back your life, so we can rest.
Now that we have all things that love assures.
You'll see your eyes in mine, and mine in yours.
