Orange Blossoms
by Michael David Coffey

Orange blossoms scattered
Across an ocean of lush green trees
In this hidden valley among the desert hills
Here I'll take you, in paradise, to be
Sweet juices on your lips and
Fragrant white flowers in your long dark hair
To a place of heavenly purple hues
Among old gray arches, ancient brick courtyards
Old white roses and time worn fountains
In a quiet corner we'll sit and meditate
As our warmth diffuses in the tranquil golden air
And we touch, our hands in union
And kiss like young lovers do
Here, I'll find you in this quiet place
With orange blossoms in your hair
And sweet kisses on your lips
Among the fragrances of a hidden valley --
                                     called Love.
