Is it true u hold a poets heart?
If so where should I start?

I think slowly
Letting my heart beat fast.
Dreaming all the moments from our past
Memories grow

I smooth the paper with my pen
Let it speak our love
My passion floats before the dove
I stop writing for a moment to grin.

I imagine her face as she reads.
It starts with a smile
But then it hits the tile.
I erase what I wrote and feel my soul bleed

I think a second time in hopes of something great
I put my pen down and stop
I feel my stomach drop
Y should I give her a written paper she'll hate.

Maybe I should put it in words
I can play a song
Make it real long
But who plays love chords?

I want to give so badly but it's confusing
Maybe a present... that's a joke
I keep forgetting that I'm broke
It seems everywhere I go, my ideas I keep on losing 

Take the advice from the bum on the street
Give it up!
As he shook the pennies in his cup
But I love ?love,? let's just say it's sweet

Lace fingers when hands are cold
She is beautiful it is always said
Knowing that none of my words will hit straight to her head
Maybe it is too old

The thought of love in one place
One body u care for more than your own
U would want to match her every tone
And probably put on your wall a picture of her face

It is sick
U must have no life.
Love is too much strife
But I will make it quick

I will write this out
Just 'cause I know she'll get mad
'Cause this love poem is just a little fad
And I don't care if she will shout....

"This paper is the best
And u even wrote my name
I'm glad it came
But next time, please, don't be so stressed."
