Don't walk over me
by Natasha Parvez Hooda
Everyone tells me, but I never listen
They ask why I care for you so much
When it seems you don?t care at all
You take me for granted and use me
But I have no reason as to why I care
Don?t walk over me, my friend
Some day you?ll regret it real bad
I have feelings too, some small things hurt me
Maybe they?re not meant to- but they do
What?s wrong with showing you care...?
I worry about you, care for you
But you don?t even know I?m there
I have told you so many times how I feel
But it hasn?t made a difference to you
You have not a heart but a stone.
You don?t know this now but when I go
You will miss me, miss me so.
Appreciate my love and kindness
For when I?m gone you?ll appreciate me.
It?s never too late to show me you care
Do the words, "I love you," mean anything?
Do they make you feel warm inside or
Are they just three other words, just there?
Some advice for you- whatever you do
Will someday come back to you
So don?t walk over me, walk with me!
