It's amazing how God
touches the heart,
of two people who are
world's apart.
 
There's one whose life 
is set on the academe
while the other 
a well regarded man 
in the corporate team.
 
But opposites attract, they say
in love, in friendship
there's always a mystery
to whom it may befall,
whether straight man or gay.
 
To be in this journey is not easy.
I sought for answers
in my prayers, night and day.
Did God give you
to keep my heart busy
or just to while my time away?
 
For now, I go with the flow
that's what my inner voice 
is telling me, so. 
If this is God's way 
then I?m here to stay
whatever time or day...
that's a promise I keep until eternity
to a friend whom 
I've finally grown an affinity.
