My Love
by Susan  Johnny

Everyday I fight these urges.
My love for you was true and pure.
At the same it is but a mere
Fact of despair I created.
Am I too warped to see
That, well, my love
Doesn?t really love me?

All the times I felt your hands touch
In two very different ways,
Creating two different worlds-
One of true love and one of true hate
Bestowed upon me...

I always thought of 'one luv' for all eternity.
I write my feelings down because they need to be heard
And, yet, I don?t tell the whole truth.

Because they are heard- I look at the mountains
Every year around this time because this is when it happens
I've yet to understand...
So simple, but still they are there...

Because, my love, if I just let go...
