Without You And Me
by Stephanie Nicole Phillips

These days feel so lonely and long,
without your presents next to me,
without your voice heard in my ear,
without your eyes to drift into.

These nights feel so quiet and cold,
without your body next to mine,
without your snoring in my dreams,
without the comfort of seeing you in the morning.

I saw a future there in your arms
I held our dreams in the palm of my hand.
But does anything ever go as planned?
You promised to catch me if i was to fall.

I've hit the ground and, bounced twice,
and yet i still feel as if i'm falling.
All i want is to have 'us' back.
I don't want to scan the memories alone.

I don't want the fights to be unresolved.
I just want to feel your lips next to mine.
Your body pressing against mine to keep me warm,
...and away from harm.

For you... my love remains the same,
but without you it's driving me insane.
Why can't you see i just want it to be,
Just... You And Me.
