Screaming Smile
by Brad  Roberts

Her smile- ingrained
A constant hurt

He smiles, but eyes betray
For true love he still feels

Says he?s fine- yet
Inside he dies

When she says, ?I met a boy?
Screams of love,
Emitted without sound
She never hears

He bluffs his way
Says he?s happy,
Hiding the pain
His voice may betray

Her love he misses
May never feel
For hers is elsewhere
While her smile
Makes him smile...
