To the skies i have soared,
yet, i dare not believe in what i have felt.
did i not dare listen to the voice of my heart,
foolish, yet, happiness seemed real and true.

time passes by, yet, life does so as well.
hiding behind a mask, a lie, is all that is left.
my life in a bubble, reality strikes- loneliness appears.

truth, foolish?
lucid am i not?

in front of me there you stand.
rejection, yes, nervous, did i not dare think.

now, you i hold, eternity awaits.
promises told, fulfilled it shall be.
vows now foretold, 'til death,' me- you now own.
special moment?  now reality is what is shown.
