The Shapes & Curves Of My Heart
by Andrea  Melara

Just staring like there?s no tomorrow
I know every curve on your face
Pore by pore, the texture
I know every feature of it.

Every crease, every corner
I know the expressions of your face
When you want to cry and when you want to laugh
Just staring, inevitable.

I?ve grown into and with that skin
I know the delicate and small shape of your eyes
Every single tear and through which curves
It will run down on your face.

I know every expression line
Every crack and shape of your lips
Every tiny little hair on your face
And your small pointy nose.

The flatness of your cheeks and
How mine fit perfectly against them
The exact space between your eyebrows
Your little chin.

Running my finger through every picture
I know where my finger follows
By memory, I can define
Every beautiful structure, with my eyes closed.

I know the feel of every bone,
Every speck, to be able to tell
The difference between many
Now it's impossible to stop imagining.

A figure, a face regular as any other,
Because my heart has only knowledge
For that specific one...
