Wrong Time
by Cynthia A. Rivera

Two years have gone by since your passing,
Every day a piece of us will stay missing;
Thoughts of you bring tears that still flow,
But we've got to let you go;

Wishing you were here,
To give us some cheer;
With all the heartache of you being gone,
In my eyes, your death was timed wrong;

How I wish it all could change back,
Your heart is what we lack,
Our hearts will remain broken,
But it came to be, you were God's chosen token.
