Blind Love
I have no color to you.
I am an absence in the light.
You see me only in darkness,
knowing only my beauty of night.
I only fear the familiar voice...
Of my voice breaking, talking to you.
It is the black emptiness in your mind.
But you have so much color to me!
Your fingers, move like an artist's would.
Your bring my life, to life.
In my stories, poems, unkown faces...
I live in my own world of images.
You bring the sound of bells, voices, music.
the whisper in the breeze.
You calm my fears when I search for security.
The pounding of you walking past me
guides me to you, to safety.
Your eyes hold my soul.
It is a vision without sight,
it is love with no face.
I only get the rough, strong features.
Love that's inside my heart, mind and soul.
I hold enough for both of us.
It is not a physical thing.
But what could your eyes,
the unsighted eyes possibly see?
You see in the blackness of love for me,
but I can see in color, the love in us.
