Waking Up Next To You
by   Daisy

Waking up next to you feels so right,
Especially when you're holding me tight.
I wake up and turn my head,
To see you still lying next to me in bed.
I keep very quiet, trying not to move,
So I can look at your every groove.
Rubbing your arm with my hand so light,
Waiting for you to wake up
and squeeze me with all your might.
Thoughts go through my mind as I lay,
Thinking of when you awake, what you'll say.
Something sweet, as I know you will.
There I lie, and wait until...
 you wake.
