How Can It Be?
by   SpiraL

How can it be
that I see you in a different light,
that your smile means so much more
than it used to?

How can it be
that my thoughts are now consumed by you,
when days ago you were, "just a friend?"

How can it be
that I want to share everything with you,
that your presence soothes me?

How can it be
that I thought Id never feel this way again,
yet, you make it happen so easily,
so effortlessly- you make me feel special?

How can you blame me, then,
for wanting to be with you?
