Our Last Time
by Ashley M. Siegler

The room is now quiet and the lights are low,
We sit here listening to the wind blow.

You push the hair away from my face,
Carefully going at a slow pace.

You kiss me once and you kiss me twice,
I smile while thinking, that was nice.

Are you playing games, being here with me?
I'll find out, then we will see.

No calls, no letters, not even a hello.
I think I understand that were keeping it mellow.

Bet every once in awhile, you could show me you care,
So I would know the thoughts, that we share.

Now it is time for you to go.
But before you leave I want you to know,

I think it is over between you and me.
You ruined our chances, now let me be.

I know this is hard for me to say to you,
But how can I say it, this whole ting is true.

Don't be upset for the way I feel,
You'll find another girl and that's how you deal.

I thought I loved you, but I guess I was wrong,
Now good-bye, have fun, farewell, and so long.
