I Shall Never Cry
by Danielle Nicole Newman

So, I guess it is true,
Aftr the rain, the sun surely shines.
And after the pain,
I shall never cry.
And perhaps one tear should escape,
For my family's heart
I know I'll break.
So, I shall never cry.
Through good and bad
I'll hold my smile.
I'll roll with the wind,
Never changing my style
And, I shall never cry.
To see a sad look upon my face,
To whoever knows me,
What a disgrace!
So, I shall never cry.
I'll never show emotion,
Or how I really feel.
If I lose my grin,
A sad person, I'll reveal.
And they may not respect me
If I show who I am,
So, I shall never cry!
