Alone
by MitchellDamonHawkins Jr.
I'm alone
I can't stand this silence,
You see me and I see you,
Neither say a word,
yet, we both understand,

What happened?
I screwed up,
and I want to set things right,
I'd do anything now,
just tell me how,

I'm nothing without you,
my heart is empty,
and I'm lost now more than ever before...
Where am I?

I want to get out of here,
but this is the only place I'm welcome,
I look around,
And notice maybe being alone isn't all that bad.
